There are sea turtles eating seaweed in the shallow waters of the reef, but take note not to disturb or attempt to touch sea turtles. In addition to the many fish that live in the bay, snorkelers can see sea urchins, octopus, eels, eagle rays, a small reef shark, and various invertebrates. You can find many of them in Hawaiian waters.

 

Hanauma provides the perfect overall experience, whether a beginner or an experienced snorkeler. The admission fee is $25 US per adult, and children under 12 are free. Every Monday and Tuesday, Hanauma Bay is closed so that the fish and bay can rest for two days.

36. Learn to surf at the Endless Surf Camp in San Clemente, CA

The Endless Summer Surf Camp has a surf program for everyone. This place is for anyone who has never surfed before but has always wanted to learn to surf.

 

From Monday through Friday, Endless Summer Surf Camp offers an overnight surf camp session. The overnight camp includes meals, drinks, snacks, accommodation, and surfing equipment. Surfers are taught the basics of surfing, including paddling the board, catching waves, standing up on the board, and other surfing techniques. You may take your teenage kids, especially the boys, to learn and enjoy surfing at Endless Summer Sur Camp. Also, day camps are available to kids ages 10 and up.
