As a fellow adventure seeker and family enthusiast, I know the joy of creating lifelong memories through travel. In fact, many of the destinations I’m about to share have been on my own bucket list for years, and I can’t wait to experience them with my daughter.
In this blog post, I’ve curated a list of 35 bucket list trips that are not only kid-friendly but will also guaranteed to bring out your family’s adventurous side. These destinations have captured my heart, and I’m convinced they will capture yours too.

Kennedy Space Center offers so much to see and do! There are real rockets, astronaut museums, and Apollo expeditions to explore.
Witnessing a live rocket launch is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex provides the best public display of rocket launches, complete with live commentary from space experts. Viewing areas are located within a few miles, allowing you to see and feel the rocket launch of spacecraft. All ages enjoy seeing a rocket launch at KSC! You get to see so many areas of KSC up close that you have only seen on T.V. or in movies and can have an informative and educational trip. The exhibits are all fascinating, and the shuttle launch experience is definitely worth the trip for your entire family.
33. Snorkel with Sea Turtles in Hanauma Bay
Hanauma Bay has the best snorkeling and everything else you could ever want on a Hawaiian beach. The green sea turtles, or honu, are most snorkelers’ favorite part of a trip to Hanauma Bay.
There are sea turtles eating seaweed in the shallow waters of the reef, but take note not to disturb or attempt to touch sea turtles. In addition to the many fish that live in the bay, snorkelers can see sea urchins, octopus, eels, eagle rays, a small reef shark, and various invertebrates. You can find many of them in Hawaiian waters.
Hanauma provides the perfect overall experience, whether a beginner or an experienced snorkeler. The admission fee is $25 US per adult, and children under 12 are free. Every Monday and Tuesday, Hanauma Bay is closed so that the fish and bay can rest for two days.

Paris’ Eiffel Tower is an iconic attraction and one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations.

The Endless Summer Surf Camp has a surf program for everyone. This place is for anyone who has never surfed before but has always wanted to learn to surf.
From Monday through Friday, Endless Summer Surf Camp offers an overnight surf camp session. The overnight camp includes meals, drinks, snacks, accommodation, and surfing equipment. Surfers are taught the basics of surfing, including paddling the board, catching waves, standing up on the board, and other surfing techniques. You may take your teenage kids, especially the boys, to learn and enjoy surfing at Endless Summer Sur Camp. Also, day camps are available to kids ages 10 and up.
