  • ???? Ce weekend, nous avons profité du premier dimanche gratuit pour visiter le Musée de l’Espace Faunique du Parc de la Rivière-des-Milles-Îles! C’est un endroit qui abrite la plus grande biodiversité de la région métropolitaine et des Laurentides. ????????Ensuite, nous avons visité un laboratoire où nous avons découvert plusieurs sortes de tortues. C’était vraiment intéressant d’apprendre que certaines sont carnivores et d’autres herbivores. Certaines tortues peuvent vivre très longtemps, parfois plus de 50 ans, et même jusqu’à 100 ans pour certaines espèces!N’oubliez pas qu’il y a aussi un endroit pour louer des canots et des kayaks afin de passer du temps sur la rivière. Cette année, le 12, 13 et 14 octobre 2024 est le dernier week-end pour en profiter, alors ne le manquez pas! ????????‍♀️????Parc de la Rivière-des-Milles-Îles345, boulevard Sainte-Rose Laval QC, H7L 1M7À la recherche de lieux éducatifs amusants pour les enfants dans le Grand Montréal ? This weekend, we took advantage of the first free Sunday to visit the Wildlife Museum at the Parc de la Rivière-des-Milles-Îles! It’s a place that is home to the largest biodiversity in the metropolitan area and the Laurentians. ????????Afterward, we visited a lab where we discovered several types of turtles. It was really interesting to learn that some are carnivores while others are herbivores. Some turtles can live a very long time, sometimes over 50 years, and even up to 100 years for certain species!Don’t forget that there’s also a place to rent canoes and kayaks to spend time on the river. We’ve all seen sand and swimming pools, but have you ever tried a corn pool ????? It was an absolute hit with both the kids and adults! The kids had a blast trying to dive in, and honestly, it felt like a foot massage????—so fun!Feeding the animals is always a highlight ????, and it’s one of the reasons we love coming here. Plus, it’s just a short drive away!Though we didn’t get a chance to try the Corn Maze this time (had to head out early), the tractor ride ???? that takes you there looks like so much fun. La Ferme Forget est définitivement l’endroit à visiter! Nous avons tous vu des plages de sable et des piscines, mais avez-vous déjà essayé une piscine de maïs ????? C’était un véritable succès auprès des enfants et des adultes! Les enfants se sont amusés à essayer de plonger, et honnêtement, ça ressemblait à un massage des pieds ????—tellement amusant!Donner à manger aux animaux est toujours un moment amusant ????, et c’est l’une des raisons pour lesquelles nous aimons venir ici. De plus, c’est à seulement une courte distance en voiture!Bien que nous n’ayons pas eu l’occasion d’essayer le Corn Maze cette fois-ci (nous avons dû partir plus tôt), la balade en tracteur ???? qui y mène a l’air tellement amusante. We had to return to see her favorite white mini horse! ???? @mini.chevauxmirabel This place located in Mirabel, QC, lets kids pick their own mini horse, give them a stylish makeover, and take them for a stroll through obstacle courses. And yes, there’s even horseback riding! ???? We wrapped up the day feeding these adorable minis some carrots. ????????   • ????✨ Looking for the perfect spot to watch La Ronde fireworks? This is it! This is the best spot I’ve found so far to watch fireworks. ???? Arrive before 7 PM for free entry or it’s only $5 after. Take the metro to Papineau, walk down Rue de Lorimier under the bridge, and head east along the riverbank to the main entrance. There is no car parking on-site, but paid parking is available on Rue Fullum (access via Sainte-Catherine). ????‍????‍????‍???? Kids are welcome???????? You can bring your own food to save money! ????????????This year, there are still 2 fireworks shows: •July 27, 2024, at 10 PM - 10:30 PM ????????•August 1, 2024, at 10 PM - 10:30 PM Coldplay ???????? We’ve just bought our season pass for Parc Safari, and here’s why:Now, instead of using our own car, they’ve introduced these new electric bush trucks. It’s super relaxing for both kids and parents, plus they’re eco-friendly! ???????? You can see the animals up close without bothering them and help reduce car emissions.Our highlights from this place were the:✔️Deer Trails: Feeding lettuce to the cute deer was so much fun! Each bunch costs $3.50 (taxes included & cash only) ???????? My daughter had so much fun that she needed 3 bunches, especially because she loves feeding both the camels and deer!✔️Water Park: The slides were awesome! There are different areas for kids of all ages, so even adults can slide and have fun. ????????‍♂️
